Stay Hydrated on your Holiday Tour in Sri Lanka

12/13/2015

In a country with tropical and warm climate, it is often difficult to stay hydrated. In addition of drinking plenty of water, you can also add another natural, refreshing and good tasting drink; King Coconut (Thambili in Sinhala).

King Coconut
Sri Lankan Thambili, a variety of coconut, is sweeter than other coconuts and is an excellent choice for staying hydrated. A natural beverage filled with minerals and vitamins. Drink it and feel more energized. The water of the King coconut is also sterile, which means it is safe to drink when fresh. You can preferably drink Thambili in the morning or mid-day.

You can find King Coconuts in roadside kiosks and your driver can stop along the way during your Holiday Tour for some refreshing Thambili, so you can enjoy the rest of your day and the wonders of Sri Lanka.

Tip: when you finished drinking the King Coconut water, ask the seller to cut your coconut in half so you can enjoy the soft, milky and delicious coconut flesh inside. Don’t miss!

Have a refreshing day!
